Join SDSA-endorsed Rosie Gonzales in welcoming a prolific and accomplished South Texas Latina artist, Mitch D'Arte, to our warm and supportive community. Dr. Stacy L. Speedlin and I will be her hosts the evening of April 6th. The night will be filled with live music (Conjunto Taller and Frank Gomez Band feat. Clemencia Zapata on Percussion with a special appearance by Flaco Jimenez), MC Fonda Cox, food and spirits, as well as other performances by other distinguished guests. This promises to be an evening of art, music, Amistad and celebration. Come dance til you drop, drink some beerongas and have all the sausage you can eat. Fiesta Medal vendors are also welcome. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
